Story
This September, I’m taking on the 100 Miles in September challenge in support of the Scottish SPCA. Every mile I complete and every pound I raise will go towards rescuing, protecting, and caring for animals across Scotland.🐾
For me, this challenge is deeply personal. After losing my dogs, I didn’t think I could ever bring myself to get another one. Instead, I decided to foster through the Scottish SPCA and that’s when Bliss came into our lives. She was the most gorgeous cocker spaniel, full of love and trust despite everything she had been through. In the three months we fostered her, she completely changed my life and brought so much light back into our home. We couldn’t let her go, so we adopted her.🩷
Sadly, after only a few months, Bliss became unwell very suddenly, and we lost her. Our hearts are broken all over again. Right now, I can’t face the thought of another dog, but I wanted to do something meaningful in her memory and for all the other animals who need help.
That’s why I’m taking on this challenge — to give myself a focus, to honour Bliss, and to support the amazing work of the Scottish SPCA.
By backing me, you’ll be helping give animals the second chance they deserve, just like Bliss had.🐾❤️
