Story
Whoever you may be, you have landed on this page for a reason. No need to analyze, however, because it really doesn’t matter.
As all of you may or may not know, I lost my mother to breast cancer. I can’t believe it’s been eight years now, as I remember it all so vividly...
I remember wondering how I would ever make it to tomorrow, or how I would ever be able to laugh again, or how I could go on without my number one fan.
It’s true time helps heal, but it doesn’t make the hurt go away. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her, don’t miss her, don’t wish she was still with us. And I still wonder, if indeed everything happens for a reason, what the heck is thereason I no longer have my mother and my best friend???
On May 26, 2013, I will be running the Edinburgh supporting Breast Cancer Care Scotland, in honour of my Mum, Karin Schulte.
Here's where you come in! I would REALLY appreciate your help and support.
My fundraising goal is £500; My running time goal is 3:45
Besides looking for generous donations (every little bit helps!) I would also really appreciate training tips, advice, inspirations, etc.!
My training has already begun, so please come back and visit to get updates on how I'm doing!
Cheers and thanks, together we WILL end breast cancer.
Carol
