Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.  

We have all been incredibly moved by Tilly's bravery and her mothers courage in coping with her illness and it has made us remember our good friend Jean Taylor, who sadly died after a long battle against a brain tumour in March 2001. Although it was many years ago, Jean will never be forgotten – she was a wonderful supporter of the stables, a kind and generous friend, with a fantastic sense of humour and infectious laugh. She kept her beautiful chestnut gelding Fidget at livery here and they were a wonderful partnership, so those of us who remember Jean will be riding with her in our hearts and minds.
