Story

Huge thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am delighted to be raising funds for Oak Tree Animals' Charity.  As a Director at Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors I believe that it is important to support our local community and the charities within it.  In particular on this occasion I have chosen to raise funds for Oak Tree.  As a dog owner and dog lover myself I fully appreciate the different approach that Oak Tree apply in the work that they do which in some areas is quite ground-breaking.  The General Manager Caroline is an inspiration and so despite being terrified of heights I am doing this because as a charity I feel they deserve my support!

I am fundraising alongside three other inspirational ladies;

Christine Bowditch (Chairman of Cumbria County Council) raising funds for People First and Carlisle Mencap;

Marcia Reid Fotheringham (High Sheriff of Cumbria) and Kerrie Higham both raising funds for The Well Communities.

All funds raised will be split evenly between all four charities.

Please do come and support us at the family fun day at Carlisle East Fire Station on Eastern Way on the 12th October 2019 between 10am and 3pm.

Many thanks for your kind support, it is very much appreciated.
