We provide specialist palliative care to those facing a life limiting illness

Story

Garden House Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses, to enable them to have the best possible quality of life by providing care and support in the setting of their choice, without discrimination.

FOGGHS (Friends of Garden House Hospice) are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who stage and attend events to raise funds for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth.

Three members of FOGGHS and a Grand-daughter have joined forces to swim the 5000 metre relay at the big swim at Letchworth outdoor pool on Saturday 4th September.

Taking part:

Katie Albon (16) grand-daughter of FOGGHS member Chris Phillips

Carol Le Grand (68), Emma McConnell (32) and Gemma Morrison (34).

Carol is swimming in memory of her son, Brett Sherwood, who died at the age of 41 from a brain tumour, 7 years ago, at the the Isobel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City.

We want to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. Please donate generously!!
