Every year I  do a challenge to raise much needed cash for a charity very close to our hearts.  Young lives versus cancer.   This charity supported my son Jamie and his partner SJ, through an unimaginable time when our beautiful baby Theo,  their son , my grandson, was in intensive care, Theo was only 7 weeks old , the charity was there with support for Jamie and SJ for the duration , giving practical and emotional support.  Theo had an extremely rare form of cancer and spent the following 4 weeks in intensive care . 

I am swimming  in memory of Theo,  and to raise much needed cash for the charity .  Last year I swam 15000mtrs in 4 weeks , this year its a bit bigger! I will be swimming the length of lake Coniston on the 24th of June which is 5.25 miles this will take about 4.5 hours, and then I will also be swimming Ullswater on the 15th July , this is 7.5 miles , this swim alone will take about 8 hours ! It’s a massive challenge , I’m putting this page up now because the training alone will be huge , I swim in open water and it’s very cold at the moment so big distance swimming is not possible .  Thank you taking the time to read this , if you can donate a bit that would be really appreciated xxx
