A little bit about why we are doing this....

We have been playing cricket at Chorleywood for many years and as this is now our last year of colts cricket, we wish to assist in the fundraising efforts of the club, especially now when the club is in desperate need of a new pavilion.  We are also completing a Cricket Leaders course, where fundraising is a key element, and we thought it would be great to fundraise for the club that has given us many happy memories and opportunities over the years.  With this in mind, we are embarking on a sponsored walk from our home of cricket to THE home of cricket, Lord's cricket ground in London.  We aim to complete this walk on the 26th of August and any donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated,
