Story

I can't believe I am saying this but I am going to give up all sweet treats for at least a month for my Challenge as a way to reduce my risk of diabetes, which runs in the family. So that's no desserts, cakes, chocolate, biscuits - anything with refined sugar - and given my sweet tooth, that's going to be tough! I usually have a naughty treat (and then a bit more, and OK, just another one) a couple of times a day and as for the weekend...

There's nothing like going public to make you commit to a goal which is why I have signed up to Carers in Bedfordshire's Choose Your Challenge.
Will you support me by sponsoring my Challenge for a day, and sending me a message to keep me going?

I'll limber up in December - c'mon, you've got to give me Christmas! - and make a proper start in January,
aiming to do my refined-sugar fast for the whole month. They say that it can take 26 days to break a bad habit and I am hoping that after this my sweet tooth will be cured, my craving for treats curbed and my risk of diabetes reduced.

So, will you sponsor me for a day in January? I will do the Challenge for every day I am sponsored - you will be doing me a kindness and supporting a great local charity.

If you are thinking of making a change in the New Year, why not sign up to Choose Your Challenge? You'll get a CYC pack with tips to keep you motivated.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your support.
