When I hit 50 3 years ago I thought I may like to challenge myself in some mad way! But I didn't - the London Marathon didn't appeal and the thought of climbing a big mountain didn't do much for me either!
But the fantastic SJP Charitable Foundation that I work for came up with this! A Wingwalk! What could be better - up amongst the clouds overlooking the Cotswolds - and strapped to an aeroplane!!!! I keep waking up in a cold sweat thinking about it but am very excited too! My biggest challenge however is going to stay under the maximum weight requirement (you'll have to google to find out what that is cos I'm not telling you here!) as I am sailing dangerously close to that! So I am asking for donations to this marvellous Foundation - not just in support of the Wingwalk but to gee me along to shift some of the excess baggage too!
I’m in good company too; my colleagues Catherine Ind and Lauren Ferguson from the team are doing it too so there will be safety in numbers! And the brilliant thing is that every pound that comes into the Foundation gets matched, so the £300 target will become £600 (even I can do those maths!)

Our original date of 9 April can't now happen sadly but it's been rescheduled for 19 August! So something to look forward to after the current madness! :-) I have upped my target a bit too - a little more time to reach it! It's a great opportunity to give to our Fantastic Foundation giving so much to those charities who need it - especially at this time which is so difficult for everyone.
And now we've been grounded again - this time by a bad weather forecast! New date is Tuesday 8 September! Third time lucky! :-)
