Behçet's (pronounced Bet-jets) is a rare, complex and life-long condition caused by disturbances in the body's immune system. Behçet's can affect people of any age, but it most common in those aged 20-40. The society runs a helpline, funds research, and offers financial support for patients in need.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to support  us

Behcets Syndrome Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please support us  now!

There will be events all through the next 2 months to help raise funds for Behcets all in the name of Debbie Eden, a Behcets sufferer

Debbies Wish is to try and raise some funds for a cure to be found for this awful disease.

the name Debs Wish came about when she was asked if her dearest wish came true what would it be,

she wished for a cure for this awful disease.

She has been diagnosed over 8 years now, none of the usual treatments have worked for her and her Behcets became Neuro Behcets , she now has limited vision, hotspots on her brain and spends lots of time in hospital trying to find pain relief.

she lost her beautiful long blonde hair to chemo drugs, and what was left she bravely had shaved to raise funds through sponsorship,

As an ending to this bout of fundraising we have a presentation night planned  in Liverpool date to be arranged,

raffles, drinks, disco, buffet, late bar, dancing

fun packed evening being  planned,

try and come along and support a well deserved charity too.

Behcets is a disease that cares not for it's victims and yet a cure has not been found,

you can help the Professor and his team, (who work tirelessly  to try and find right treatments and get research done into more,) just by supporting the fund raising

This fundraising will go on with many other activities planned throughout the year, if you would like to help us then please contact me,

help us to help find a cure and end sufferer's pain and disabiity
