Our dear friend Denise lost her beloved Mum, Carol, before Christmas. More than £600 was raised at her funeral for St Ann’s Hospice, who cared for her and her family with such compassion in her final days. The huge amount raised was a testament to Carol and how many people loved her, and was a fitting tribute to a wonderfully kind lady.
Today, some utter scumbags have broken in to Denise’s flat and stolen the charity box.
We are all devastated not to be able to give the money to St Ann’s where it was going to be used to provide therapy to patients. We’ve launched this fundraising page to try to replace the cash - and ideally raise even more.
