In 2019 we lost our Steve, my husband to Sudden Death, it is a very traumatic way to lose someone, and it left me feeling very isolated. Becoming a widow at the age of 41 was not something that I had ever in my worst dreams considered could happen and it wasn’t until I found Widowed and Young that I realised that I wasn’t alone on this journey. WAY has given me so much in the past three years, and being able to speak to others going through similar pain helped to make life bearable in those early days, and as the time has passed I am still grateful to them for ongoing support and advice.

They are a wonderful charity and we would love to meet our target to help them in return.
