When you have a child you know that they will challenge you in one way or another.  I noticed that Charles had some specail qualities that my other children didn't have and decided to have him referred.

We received Charles's ASD diagnosis in early 2016 and that's when the NHS left us to it with some links of charities that could support us.

I was lucky enough to discover the Sycamore Trust who specialise in supporting the needs of individuals and families who ASD difficulties are a part of every day life.

They have been a great support network to have for Charles & for us.  for quite some time Charles has been attending a group on a Wednesday evening where there are other children who have the same qualities as Charles.  It's great because it allows him the time to be him and not worry about what others think.

They have been priceless for Charles and I feel like raising money for them is the least I can do with the positive impact they've had on Charles's life and how he behaves.
