Me and my friend Sue are going to ride our horses Sox and Blue Eyes the Wessex Ridgeway across Dorset. Covering just over 70 miles in 4 days (22nd - 25th of March) from Royal Tollard to Lyme Regis.

I will be doing this in Memory of my Mum (Belinda Bailey). She suffered from Systemic Scleroderma which lead to heart failure taking her from us nearly 4 years ago aged only 61. On the 4th and final day of the ride -25th of March would have been Mum's 65th Birthday. On this day the route takes us though the Marshwood Vale where Mum would have spent her childhood exploring with her ponies. We will finish at Lyme Regis where I have happy childhood memories of family days out.
