Story

As some of you may already know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2020. Under the fabulous care of the NHS and my breast care team, I was lucky enough to have immediate breast reconstruction in March. Only 6 days after my surgery, all reconstructions were being cancelled in preparation for the impact of COVID-19.

Today, I am now embarking on the next stage with the first round of chemotherapy starting tomorrow, Tuesday 5th May.

My superhero of a husband Dave, my family and friends have been so incredibly and wholeheartedly supportive to me throughout this whole process. My children especially, Eloise (11) and Freddie (9), have given me the strength, resilience and good humour to deal with this head on...

So, with this in mind, I have decided to let them cut Mummy’s hair on 14th May which is one way of marking our 15th wedding anniversary, I suppose! We hope to record and post this unique hairdressing experience on my Facebook page, or even live-stream it if we can work out how to!

My (lovely?!) locks will be given to The Little Princess Trust, and any money donated by you lovely lot will go directly to the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

Thank you so much!
