Caroline's Willen hospice tandem skydive page

I always knew that Willen Hospice was an amazing and valuable local charity. Unfortunately last year when my dad was diagnosed with incurable cancer I got to experience first hand the extent of all they do. I had no idea just how much support, treatment, care and comfort they provide to the whole family. My Dad regularly visited the well being centre and it was very much a safe place for him. He then spent his last two weeks in the hospice where the care and attention for us all went above and beyond. The difference that this made to my Dad and our family is immeasurable and I just want to give something back to say thank you.
So for a man who loved flying and being high up and looking over the world, what better way to honour his memory than to jump out of a plane. I’ll be flying for my Dad and I know he’ll be there with me.
So no big deal right? I’ve spent most of my life falling in one way or another so may as well do it from a plane.... who am I kidding, this is HUGE so any donations and support will be massively appreciated xx
Willen Hospice provides specialist end-of-life care for adults, focusing on four key areas: specialist symptom control, emotional support, spiritual support and care for carers.Often the most distressing aspect of living with life-limiting illnesses is the types of pain and symptoms which can arise. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers can give compassionate, specialist support to patients, and their family members, to help deal with, as they wish to, the physical and emotional effects of both their illness and treatments.
