I am competing in the Rat Race Man Versus Mountain challenge on Saturday 3rd September which will be an approximately 22 miles of running around and up Snowdon and back down again with an array of obstacles to get through on the way which will involve a lot of surprises including jumping in cold water, kayaking, swimming, climbing and ropes! 

I am scared of heights so no doubt this will be a challenge for me !

My daughter joined the cub Scouts last year and the work they all do as volunteers to help our children grow is amazing. I recently had the pleasure to help at a cub camp and to see the children have such a great time was amazing. The are capable of so much more than we as parents give them credit for and it is the scouts that can help them realise their potential and help them discover the talents they have. 

I would be very grateful if you could dig deep in these difficult times as without being to go out and do fundraising activities it is a challenge for the Scouts right now and they need all the help they can get.
