Story

The RDHP is a charity very close to my heart 🧡 and this October I will be walking 100 miles in an effort to raise some money for them.

Life can be tough and it’s easy to put on a smile and say “I’m fine!” when people ask how you’re doing. I always feel so much better when I’ve been outside in the fresh air. ‘Walking and talking’ with my friends always leaves me feeling positive too. Join me for a walk (you’ll spot me from a mile away with my Headlight Hat on! ) and even better, donate if you can 🧡

Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, the Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by suicide in the Teesside area, by providing therapeutic support to families who have suffered a traumatic bereavement, delivering workshops in schools and suicide prevention training to the local community.
