In 2009 we lost our Dad suddenly to Bowel Cancer and we always said that we wanted to do something to remember him by. We decided to support The Booby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK as it is a charity that raises money for research into bowel cancer and also works to increase peoples awareness of the disease.

Our Dad was a wonderful, energetic and funny man who will probably be laughing now as he see's Kid and I in training for our challenge the 10km run, or in my case walk...

We have had a lot of early Saturday mornings preparing for this, come rain wind and even snow. Our mum has been out walking with us and Kid's fiancee the 'Jeminator' has been great in keeping us motivated. Not only that but we will not be facing this challenge alone. Along the way friends have also decided to run the 10km with us and raise money to help combat this awful disease.

We really hope that you will support us and donate all that you can and you are more than welcome to come to meet us at the finish line so we can raise a glass not only to all those who have completed the run but to our Dad, Les Hooper, the greatest dad in the world x
