I am walking 8,000 steps every day in July to support the 1in10 endo warriors. The 8,000 steps represent the 8 years it takes, on average, to be diagnosed with it. On the days that I am unable to complete 8,000 steps (because of endometriosis), my mum will walk them instead.

Endometriosis is an awful chronic illness that leaves me in debilitating pain and extreme fatigue for multiple days of the month. This has led to being unable to get out of bed. It has had a huge impact on all aspects of my life. I haven't been properly diagnosed with it because it isn't that well understood. I want to do these walks to help Endometriosis UK which relies on donations as they are mainly volunteer-based. Their support groups & website have made me feel less lonely so I would love to give something back.
