Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

I will be doing 12 challenges, one a month during 2018 to raise money for The Pilgrims Hospice.

My step dad Tony passed away on the 23rd of December 2017, he spent his final days in the Pilgrims  Hospice Canterbury. They were truly fantastic and gave both him and my mum the most amazing care and comfort.

It costs £14 million to run the 3 hospices and only 25% is funded by the government so any donations are welcome.

My challenges so far include 150miles by the 31st Jan, colour run (date to be confirmed), moon London marathon in Sept (joint fundraising for bowel cancer Uk), Canterbury half marathon in Aug.

Please feel free to suggest a challenge and I will of course post the months challange in advance.

2017 has been a very tough year for myself and my family with the loss of 3 very close and special people, but what doesn’t break you makes you stronger        💪🏽❤️ ☺️
