Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

Twelve years ago after crossing the 2006 London Marathon finish line I vowed "NEVER AGAIN!!" Stupidly in 12 years I managed to forget the aching legs, lost toenails, tears, sweat and utter madness in running a marathon! So here we are again!

This time I have my own place on 22 April and will be there at the start line.. However it would be a real waste not to use the opportunity to raise awareness and cash for charity! I'm raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Action a charity very close to me after my partner's mum died suddenly of pancreatic cancer last year. Sadly Angela died only days after her diagnosis, causing heartbreak for her family. An all too common theme with this type of cancer is that symptoms are not usually indentified early and diagnosis is often made when it is too late for any treatment. Please support me in helping to raise money and awareness for this incredible charity which aims to improve early diagnosis and survival rates.
