Opening the new youth centre is desperately needed more than ever and we are so nearly there. 2020 has been tough for everyone, particularly young people in our community who have really struggled with the impact of Covid. We are able to support small numbers of them despite lockdown because our work with them is deemed essential for their mental wellbeing. We have a huge increase in referrals and are keen to work face to face with young people who really need face-to-face support in a home-from-home setting. According to Young Minds, 80% of young people feel the Pandemic has made their mental health worse. You can help us and make a difference to young peoples lives. The only cost stopping us opening is the flooring.
