I have family who are autistic and have looked after people with autism for over 20 years. They’ve given me so much over the years, my life is enriched because of what I have learnt and experienced. This is a chance for me to give more personally, promote awareness, and help people get the help and support they need.

I am raising money for this charity because people with learning disabilities and autism are a group of people whom are dear to my heart. These people have  great talents and so much to offer and yet often due to awareness, they are overlooked and struggle in society. 

With the money I raise, I hope to help increase awareness and give people with autism more opportunity to be a part of their community. People live more safely in the community having others understand and look out for them and I believe everyone has a responsibility to look out for others.

I have worked supporting people with Autism for nearly 20 years now, and these people have made my job so rewarding, I have loved helping people to achieve their dreams and have a good quality of life. This is my way of giving back.
