Cheryl McQue and her amazing family experienced first hand why  Fight Against Cancer Edinburgh (FACE) is such a worthy charity.  FACE is based at the Cancer Centre of the Western General hospital in Edinburgh, it was set up to provide the little things that make a difference to patients and families who have been affected by cancer.  

Cheryl and I met at George Heriot's School in Edinburgh.  I can hardly believe it has been over thirty years since our teachers began to scold us for talking in class!
