Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Great North Run to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Action. I have been inspired by my dad who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2014. Since then he has shown nothing but strength and determination...so the least I can do is use that as motivation to complete the GNR. I would love to be able to run the whole way, but as long as I complete it, I will be meeting my goal. I just hope someone is there at end to pick me up haha.

Pancreatic cancer is the 5th largest cause of death by cancer, yet only receives only 1% of overall cancer reasearch funding....BAFFLING!!!! Not only do I hope to raise money for this charity, I also hope to raise awareness surrounding pancreatic cancer.

Any donation made, small or large, will contribute to a very good and needed cause. So if you are making a donation...THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
