London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

We are volunteers who respond to 999 calls in the local area, working with the local ambulance service, to provide pre-hospital care, assessment and treatment, in advance of the arrival of the ambulance. We are dispatched at the same time as an ambulance, but can often arrive sooner due to locality.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been really fortunate to get a ballot entry place for the London Marathon and will be supporting our local community by running the 26.2 miles in aid of Gnosall and District Community First Responders. They are a group of volunteers responding to local 999 in advance of the arrival of the ambulance. They also provide education to the local community and school. As a member of this community I am thankful for the first responders.

I love running but running a marathon is no mean feat (except it's pretty mean to your feet!) so I would be incredibly grateful for any donation that you are able to make which will help me to get to that finish line and raise funds for this wonderful charity. Thank you :-)
