Last year, I experienced a week where I laughed, cried and ‘shook my booty’ all in the aid of Over the Wall, a charity which provides residential camps for children who are affected by serious or life limiting illnesses. It was a fantastic experience and one I’ve decided to repeat again this Easter.

 

Over the Wall don’t ask for sponsorship or donations from their volunteers however based on my amazing experience at camp last year I have decided to open a Just Giving page for any donations (large or small!) to support me volunteering this year. These donations will help fund future camps allowing more seriously ill children and their siblings to enjoy a week away to relax and have fun outside of their normal lives.  

 

Even if you can’t support with a donation, I’d encourage you to check out Over the Wall on their website www.otw.org.uk  and perhaps look at volunteering yourself… it truly is a great and rewarding experience.
