Story

The story below is of mine and my husbands best friends and their son, Oli. I am doing this fundraising to show my love and support for this rather awesome family who we love dearly.

My amazing 8yo son, Oliver, was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of ALS. This cruel disease is behind his progressive deterioration over the years, robbing him of various abilities and gradually affecting him in a number of ways. For those that don't know Oliver, he is a funny, kind, caring, charming and Spiderman-obsessed boy. Whilst there is currently no cure for Motor Neurone Disease or ALS, I can't sit back and be idle, so have decided to attempt a marathon distance trek of the Jurassic Coast with the support of my brilliant sister and friends in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Any donations, big or small, would be very much appreciated to help with the research into this disease.
