Rock 'n' Roll Liverpool Half Marathon 2018 · 20 May 2018 ·

On Dec 12th 2010 Lee went to bed and never woke up. SUDEP had taken another victim, at the age of just 24. Over 1,000 people die every year in the UK as a result of Epilepsy. Lee never knew he was at risk - Lee's Smile aims to raise awareness of Epilepsy, to reduce the stigma, and to save lives.

Story

To be fair this is not my story...Lee was a young man who had his life tragically cut short at the age of 24 to Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy - 12/12/10.

He was a son, brother, nephew and cousin to an amazing family who, I hold very dear to my heart. Lee's mum and dad, created the charity Lee's Smile to raise awareness of SUDEP and unlike major charities the monies go directly to where it should. Monies that have been raised so far has funded the research into epilepsy and financially supporting the fantastic work done with the LGI Hospital (Leeds General Infirmary). Please give generously to this worthy cause.
