I am raising money because I have been personally affected by this issue.

In 2006, on the thirty first of July my brother Brazil partied on a boat off the coast of Ibiza for his first and last time. Despite the fact that it was a beautifully clear evening with calm seas and low winds he died. 

It was and remains an unexplained event.

A tragedy.

It is my fervent belief that all lives matter: be they on sea or on land; in the air or in the sky.

I intend to spend the entire month of May raising money for lifeboats at sea by participating in my own personal "ask me nearly anything" challenge followed by a silent auction of some stationery and books.

For the month of May I would like to dedicate my daylight hours to working towards this cause.
