Story

Carol was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer last March. In the intervening year, she has been treated by the Royal Marsden with chemotherapy, managed by Dr Susana Banerjee in Sutton, and surgery performed superbly by Mr John Butler in Chelsea.

The care she and I have had has been second to none, always empathetic, and the nursing care when Carol has been an in-patient (most recently for 7 weeks) has been wonderful.

Carol is home now, and if she is well enough to be left, the three of us will join the Banham Marsden March on Sunday March 10th to raise money so that the Marsden can continue to provide this superb level of care, and more as their research develops.

Your help in supporting us (our daughter Claire, Carol's brother David and me) is very much appreciated and we can't think of a better cause.
