We're challenging people to complete 140,000 steps in March to celebrate Mother's Day and to acknowledge the 140,000 people currently living with MS in the UK.

Story

Hello everyone and thank you for looking at my just giving page

I was diagnosed with MS back in October 2019 and to date, there is approx 140,000 people living with MS in the UK.

I am going to be walking 140,000 steps which  equates to 66 miles or 106 kilometres over the month of March.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.

The Kent MS Therapy Centre is a small, independent charity providing vital services to people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) from across Kent and Medway.

It costs more than £600,000 a year to run the therapies and support clinics we deliver and because of the Covid-19 pandemic their income has been hit hard, due to the centre having to close during national lockdowns and fundraising events being cancelled.

Any donation big or small, will have such a huge and positive impact on the MS Therapy Centre.

Thank you so much for all of your support during these difficult and challenging  times.

Take care and Stay safe :-)
