Bryon's Run/Walk/Roll to Cure Paralysis - Carolyn Ewald

Bryon's Run/Walk/Roll to Cure Paralysis 2022 · 2 October 2022
The phrase "turn your pain into purpose" is one that has always resonated with me. Through hardships, you realize quickly that you are not in control and may need to ask for help.
One of the people that I know who exemplifies turning their pain into purpose is Bryon Riesch, the son of the owner of R&R Insurance (where I work in Commercial Lines). Bryon is a quadriplegic who was injured in 1998 as a freshman in college. I had the pleasure of chatting with Bryon over a lunch break recently (he would say it was not a pleasure, but that's Bryon's dry sense of humor) and it reminded me to continue to look for the good in the bad.
To support the good that Bryon is doing, I decided to take part in Bryon's Run/Walk/Roll to Cure Paralysis on Sunday, October 2 to help put an end to paralysis. The Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation's (BRPF) mission is to find a cure for paralysis and help others with neurological disorders. To date the BRPF has raised over $6 million in the fight. My goal is to fundraise $250. If you feel moved, please help me make a difference for so many individuals suffering from paralysis. Thank you!
