In July 2017, Andy (Iler) spent his last few weeks at St Peter's Hospice. The staff couldn't have done more for him, myself, for Beth, our families and the endless stream of visitors who came to see him.

Because of the amazing staff, we have happy memories of the time we spent with Andy. His room was always full of friends, music and laughter, and every single person who visited him felt welcomed and looked after. I will never forget the care the nurses took of Andy and the time they spent reassuring all of us who were there with him.

All of St Peter's care is provided free of charge, but it costs around £20,000 a day. They will continue to be there for families at their darkest times, so need our support so they can keep doing their valuable work.

To raise money, I am taking part in St Peter's Hospice China Challenge, where I will be trekking The Great Wall of China. I would like to raise as much money as possible for this amazing place.

I've been completely overwhelmed by everyone's donations, and the support of the events that we have organised so far. The raffles, the horse race night, the firewalk and abseil have raised a grand total of £17,303 for St Peters and other cancer charities. So many people have helped and got involved in memory of Andy......I can't thank you enough.
