World AIDS Day Red Run 2018 · 1 December 2018 ·

Taking place on Saturday the 1st of December 2018 the 30th World AIDS Day anniversary the World AIDS Day Red Run is a 10K or 5K charity run through leafy Victoria Park, East London to support 30 essential HIV charities across the UK!

Story

Joanna has somehow (and I still don't know how) managed to persuade me to run the World AIDS Day Red Run on Saturday 1st December.  As many of you may know, I am not a runner and am still struggling to get to the point of figuring out how you enjoy running!  But this is a cause that is dear to Joanna's heart, so I am going to support her and try not to whinge too much round the course!

Joanna's brother, Robert, died 25 years ago.  He was one of the first people to get HIV - before the advances in drugs we have today.  He was 42 when he died and sadly never got to meet his niece as Joanna was pregnant with her daughter at the time.

We are running so that nobody else has to lose a loved one to AIDS, so please be generous and support this worthy cause.

Thank you
