Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Carolyn, my very much adored wife and soul mate, and most caring mother of our little baby girl Camille (3 1/2 months) passed away tragically on March 20th, after a sudden cardiac arrest during her sleep, while we were living the most happy days of our lives.

I created this page should you wish to donate toward Cardiac Risk in the Young which is the UK Sudden Adult Death Syndrome charity, in memory for Carolyn.

I specifically created this page for the CRY fundraising event 2013 CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk to which I will participate This Sunday July 7th.  The route crosses 7 Thames bridges and includes great views of at least 12 of London's famous landmarks, representing the 12 young sudden cardiac deaths that occur each week in the UK.
