Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) - Walk with the Stars Midnight Walk 2010 · 19 June 2010 ·

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

St Francis is close to my heart as several families members have been cared for there in past years with them receiving fantastic care in the last weeks of their life. Had we not been so fortunate last year with mum fighting breast cancer so bravely and coming out on top i'm sure i would be writing something very different now.

I just feel this is such a worthy local cause to be raising money for as we never know when WE might need the care from them. So if you can spare a pound or two i would be very grateful.
