Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you will know, I am running the Great North Run this weekend for Anthony Nolan.  This is a charity very close to me as I lost a friend a number of years ago who was waiting for a bone marrow transplant and I try to do at least one fundraising event a year for the charity.
This year I'm going to try something slightly different as I know that everyone knows someone who is completing the run and it gets very expensive!

This year there will be a sweepstake on my finishing time :-)
If you would like to participate, just email me what time you think I will complete the run in and let me know what donation you would like to make.  The prize for the closest time will be a bottle of bubbly stuff.  I will announce the winner on Monday (if I can move).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
