Story

Team Cartmells are always up for a challenge so, when Hospice at
Home launched their ’50 Faces’ fundraiser, our West Cumbria girls signed up and donned their thinking hats ...

After a lot of thought, suggestions and zoom meetings, it was decided that they would complete 50 Wainwrights between 1st July 2020 and the 1st January 2021. Whether this be hiking, running or, over the winter months, something a little more adventurous, the aim is to reach the summit of 50 of the wainwright stunning fells!

Hospice at Home West Cumbria is such a fantastic charity to
support and, being in West Cumbria, is very close to our hearts.  The team tackling this challenge are:

Claire Wilson – Associate Solicitor specialising in Wills, Probate,
Trusts and Inheritance Tax. Claire works between our Rosehill and West Cumbria
offices.

Laura Clarke – Private Client Executive specialising in Wills,
Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Inheritance Tax. Laura works from our
West Cumbria office.

Lauren Hanley – Secretary based in our West Cumbria office.

Gemma Rudd – Secretary based in our West Cumbria office.

“Our motivation for completing this challenge couldn’t be greater.  The amazing team at Hospice at Home play such an important role within our community, not only for the people that they provide such crucial care to, but also their families and loved ones during the most difficult times.  We will certainly be proud to continue to support them and this will no doubt give us a boost to reach those summits!” says Laura.
