We are the world’s largest charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464), Scotland (SC041666), the Isle of Man (1103) and Jersey (247).

Story

This July my brother Peter and I (with the help of our Dad as designated driver) are attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge. The challenge sees us climb the three highest peaks in the UK in under 24 hours, including all the driving in between!

Our trek will start at Ben Nevis (1345m), before a drive down to the Lake District to tackle Scafell Pike (978m),  finishing with a final push in Wales hiking up and down Snowdon (1085m). The challenge totals roughly 3400 vertical metres, something which neither me or my brother are accustom to as runners... at least not all in one day!

We now look to our friends and family to help us reach our fundraising target of £500.00, in recognition of the individuals and those close to them who have to deal with such terrifying news on a daily basis. Life is never easy, and is made even more difficult by those who are forced to welcome that six letter word into their lives, whether it's for a few months, a year, or a lifetime.

Thank You!
