Hi and a big thank you  to everyone who has managed to find the time to view this page. We all lead such busy lives don't we?!!.

Last year was awesome!!  So exciting! I have never seen so many happy smiling faces  at that event. It really helped settle the nerves.

 Anyway I happen to have gained another place to attempt the London Marathon via the Good For Age category - so there are some advantages to getting older.....who would have thought it!!

Having said that, it doesn't get any easier giving up the time to train which gets progressively longer as the weeks just fly by. Apart from that the real motivator is the people you meet along the way who help you through that training period. Like minded people happily chatting to you along the run as you huff and puff trying your best to keep up with them (and hoping they don't notice you are actually struggling too)!!    

I'm supporting Unicef once again  to keep up their good work to assist around the world the children in need whether its a disaster area or war torn region and hope that you too may be able to find a few small pennies to add to my contribution for this most worthy cause.

Your lovely best wishes and support for Unicef  will make  it very special to me  too! Thank you all so much !!

 A big thank you also to my running club Lordshill Road Runners and their members who are always very encouraging and give their time freely to help anyone who is interested.
