Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...I'm holding an epic 24 hour gaming marathon on 6th October for Macmillan Game Heroes 2018 to raise money for people affected by cancer. 

This year has been a tough one for me and my family. I haven't really spoke out about my journey but for a good cause it's worth it. After a routine smear earlier this year I was diagnosed with high grade cervical cancer in June. It literally flipped our lives upside down. I had only just had Oliver 8 month's prior so I was still recovering from my C-section to be told I needed another major surgery. I am still dealing with the after effects of what has happened both mentally and physically but I can not praise Macmillan enough for the support and guidance they gave me. The money you donate doesn't just go the support staff who are available over the phone to help and give guidance in a difficult, sometimes lonely time but also to go towards grants given to those who are financially affected by a cancer diagnosis. I had to come out of work for a short time and the grant I received helped us so much, as we know life is expensive enough! So I want to give back to help other people in thier time of need. Anyone who knows me knows I am an active person and I'd rather go do a Tough Mudder or a Fun Run to raise money but as I am still healing sitting on my ass and playing games will have to do! As we have Oliver Ste and I will be working as a team to play for 24 hours taking comfort breaks only. I would be so so grateful for your support and whatever donations you can make to an amazing charity who do so much for people and families effected by cancer.
