“Life is always too short when you are with your child, but if you lose them, every day seems like an eternity”.
This November, Metro Radio’s Cash for Kids are aiming to raise £50,000 to build a facility in The Teenage Cancer Ward which will allow sufferers to have somewhere to try and live their life while undergoing the devastating treatment they need to survive.
We are asking for support to give these teenagers the chance to have a huge chill-out room where they will have access to all the things that modern youngsters take for granted. Aside from all the wonderful facilities that will be on offer, this is a place where teenagers can come and socialise with those of their own age. Statistics show that if teenagers have access to these rooms, there is scope for a 15% increase in survival rates.
