I'm Cason Brady I'm 13 years old and I have been growing my hair for 12 months so that I can have it shaved off for my Grampops who is living with Vascular dementia. As a family we have cared for him at home until recently, as he has now had to move to Hoylake Cottage for specialist dementia nursing care. I want as many people to know  about Hoylake cottage and the wonderful job they do of caring for people like my Pops. Hoylake Cottage have a new campaign called 'Thank You For The Memories', which is transforming their current day service into a fully functioning reminiscence village, where they will have replica rooms such as a bank, post office, cafe, cinema and loads more, all of different eras gone by, so that all the patients who attend can participate in different activities throughout the day or just wonder around feeling that they are just doing their normal every day things whilst being cared for by the lovely staff there. I love my Pops very much & I would like to try and raise as much money as possible in honour of him. The money I raise will go towards completing a room within the village and if I can get enough then hopefully the room will be dedicated to my pops which I know he would be massively chuffed with !
