Myself, Sarah and 4 friends are walking 10km as part of the haven house sparkle walk.

Haven house is the hospice that cared for Oscar in his final weeks. Not only did they look after Oscar, they cared for us and gave us the emotional support needed. 

We opted for hospice at home care so Oscar could be at home with all his things, cats and family, at times we had 3 hospice nurses here for hours while they sorted out his symptom management, hopping on the tube to Great Ormond Street hospital to get a new prescription. Nothing was too much for them.

As with every charity they are under funded and over worked so we want to support them by raising some money- we couldn’t have survived loosing Oscar without them. They are still checking in on us- Haven House offers us counselling and Isaac will always be a haven house buddy.

The Sparkle Walk 2023 to help raise money to support Haven House Children's Hospice.
