In May 2021, I will be taking on the true fear factor challenge, worthy of a place on (most) peoples bucket list - a skydive! 

As LSU Rag are facilitating the challenge, the money will be passed through them and onto the British Heart Foundation (BHF - 225971)

I have chosen to raise money for this charity in order to raise vital funds for the British heart Foundation (BHF) as it is a cause that will is very close to my heart.

On the 19th February 2017 my Dad Paul McCarthy suddenly passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest which was caused by a genetic heart disease called familial hypercholesterolemia. Due to the genetic nature of my dad's heart disease my sisters and I will have to be monitored throughout our lives. The vital research carried out by the BHF may have a personal impact not only on my family but on thousands of other people. 

I will be incredibly grateful for any donations. Surely seeing me jump out of a plane is worth every penny!
