Castel Gandolfo Trek, Rome · 15 August 2019
Ciao tutti! This summer we have been lucky enough to have been selected to work at Italo NTV in Rome, Italy. This opportunity has been made possible thanks to Saltire, so we would like to raise money to give back so that next year's cohort have the same chances to learn, to grow and to develop as future entrepreneurs.
On 15 August 2019 we will be travelling to Castel Gandolfo to trek 10km along the perimetre of Lake Albano, better known as the place where the Pope spends summer! We will be of course be bringing the Saltire on the journey and documenting the landscape while sweltering under 33 degree heat - don't worry, we're bringing plenty of water!
Thank you for your donations - big or small!
Please read below to learn more about Saltire.
This year we are sending over 180 students from 14 Scottish universities on fully funded internships all around the world. As part of the Saltire Programme we encourage our Scholars to give back by way of fundraising which will help towards the sustainability of the programme for years to come. In previous years, scholars have organised an array of events and activities with great success. With our biggest ever cohort of Scholars we have set an ambitious target of £10,000, with their entrepreneurial mindset we are sure Scholars will have fantastic fundraising idea's to reach this!
