Story

About the Christmas Present Appeal

The Christmas Present Appeal helps make sure no child goes without a gift to open on Christmas Day.

🎄 This year 454 children in our local area need support 🎄

New, unwrapped toys or gifts can be:

  • donated by members of the public, local companies and our Church family
  • purchased using the generous financial donations on this Just Giving page
  • distributed either directly to families by us, or through partners such as local schools, social workers and health visitors.

Will the appeal be following COVID Safe guidelines?

Yes, we will be following government guidelines to ensure that the appeal is conducted safely.

Why are The Salvation Army involved?

As a Christian Church and Charity, we are passionate about unconditionally demonstrating God’s love to everyone.

One way we do this at Christmas is through the Christmas Present Appeal. This year with the impact of COVID -19 we are anticipating the demand will be greater than ever. The challenges that families have faced are varied and often heart-breaking.
