Story
The SVP community in Castleknock College are participating in the Depaul Marathon in a Month Challenge in the month of April to raise awareness and money for the homeless. Depaul, the charity we are fundraising for, works with hard-to-reach groups - the most marginalised people in homelessness. Many of the people Depaul support have underlying health conditions and their risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19, if contracted, is very high. For the past year, Depaul has been protecting medically vulnerable people who are homeless in three shielding units throughout Dublin's City Centre.
If you would like to participate in the Challenge, all you have to do is run, walk, or cycle a marathon in the month of April. It is a great way to keep fit, challenge yourself and raise vital funds for some of the most vulnerable in our society.
Join us in supporting people who are homeless at this challenging time by sponsoring our Marathon in a Month Challenge!
